Sales Rep Job Duties & Requirements

Leads

  • Handle inbound leads professionally & timely
  • Consistently keeping sales pipeline filled with inbound leads 
  • Utilize company systems & tools to organize book of business 
  • Properly document customer interactions

Inspections

  • Use proper safety equipment & techniques on all inspections 
  • Photograph all overall & exterior accessories. Document any storm or non-storm related damages on property
  • Communicate all damages (with Damage Reports) found on premise with the homeowner and educate them on the proper steps to repair the loss
  • Obtain roof measurements

Adjusters & Insurance

  • Communicate with homeowners to represent them and their claim with insurance adjusters
  • Always act professionally & ethically
  • Follow up with homeowners to update them on the status of their claim
  • Educate homeowners on the next proper steps of the repair or denial process
  • Review initial insurance estimates & educate homeowner on how to read their insurance estimate

Contracts

  • Obtain all of the required information needed for production
  • Educate homeowners on product options, warranties & Brookens roofing practices
  • Obtain required signatures on documents & an initial down payment
  • Educate homeowners on the supplement process
  • Document any homeowner concerns or special requests

Communication & Workflow Processes

  • Maintain & organize personal schedule/calendar
  • Attend weekly, monthly & quarterly meetings 
  • Sales reps required to update “Status” of leads/jobs in JobNimbus as lead progresses through workflow
  • Utilize company systems & tools efficiently such as Job Nimbus, Company Cam, Slack, Sales Rabbit, Google Workspace, etc 
  • Document all customer interactions & communicate information effectively to the team

Training & Leadership

  • Complete Brookens University Training 
  • Assist other sales reps with their training when requested by management
  • Participate in Leadership Development opportunities presented by management & team leads
